Careers at JunkStart

Work Hard. Get Paid Fair. Go Home Proud.

At JunkStart, we keep things simple. Do the job right. Treat people well. Leave every space better than you found it.

Our teams show up prepared, communicate clearly, and help customers through jobs that are often stressful, messy, or overdue.

If you’re dependable, good with people, and not afraid of hands-on work, you’ll fit in here

Why Work Here? Because Guesswork Is Not a Job Benefit

Real outcomes, backed by verified weight, transparent process, and happy customers. We’ve built our company on clarity and fairness. That applies to how we work just as much as how we price.

  • Clear process. Clear expectations.

You’ll know how the job works, how pricing works, and what “done right” looks like.

  • No awkward upselling. No weird pressure.

Our pay-by-weight model keeps things honest. You focus on service, not selling.

  • Respect is part of the job.

We work inside people’s homes and businesses. Communication and professionalism matter.

  • Big picture support. Local team pride.

We’re growing nationally, but every location is locally owned and accountable.

What You Will Actually Be Doing

This isn’t a desk job. You’ll move, lift, solve problems, and see results at the end of every shift. Day-to-day work includes:

  • Lifting and loading bulky items safely
  • Talking customers through what’s happening and what to expect
  • Using equipment and onboard scale systems
  • Keeping job sites clean and organized
  • Representing JunkStart like a pro

It’s physical work. You’ll stay active. And you won’t be wondering if you accomplished anything that day.

Who Does Well Here

Some people try it. Some people stick. The ones who stick tend to have a few things in common.

  • They show up and follow through: If they say they’ll be there, they’re there. Their team can count on them.
  • They keep getting a little better every day: They take feedback, learn fast, and look for ways to improve 1% at a time.
  • They think like a team: They communicate, step in when needed, and care about the crew as much as the job.
  • They do the right thing, even when it’s harder: With customers. With teammates. With the work itself.
  • They can handle the physical side of the job: It’s hands-on, active work. You’ll move, lift, and stay on your feet.
  • They’re comfortable talking to customers: Clear, respectful communication is part of the job.

Experience in moving, construction, logistics, or customer service helps, but it’s not required.

If you’re willing to work hard, learn fast, and be part of a team that shows up for each other, you’ll do well here.

Not Just a Job. A Way to Move Up.

We’re growing fast, which means opportunities don’t stay “entry-level” for long. Team members move into lead roles, operations, and management as new locations open and teams expand.

We’re not just hauling junk. We’re building a better system for how this industry works.
